July 2018 TESOL/TCSOL Summer 2018 Program hosted by TC, Columbia University and OGU

My name is Vincent Phinouwong and I am a TC alumnus (MA TESOL 2016) currently working as an English lecturer at Osaka Gakuin University (OGU). I am working with Dr. Zhaohong Han (Professor of Language and Education at TC), to disseminate information regarding the TESOL/TCSOL Summer 2018 Program hosted by TC, Columbia University and OGU. I, along with three other TC alumni teaching at OGU, would like to ask for the TC Japan Alumni Association's assistance with distributing the attached flyers to any institutions or individuals who may be interested in the program.

The 3-week TESOL/TCSOL certificate program consists of 3 tracks, so participants have the option to obtain a certificate in TESOL (Teacher English to Speakers of Other Languages), TCSOL (Teacher Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages), or both. Despite being a rigorous program, we believe that this is a great opportunity for prospective participants to receive instruction from Columbia University professors without having to travel outside of Japan.

The program is currently accepting applications, with the priority deadline coming up on February the 15th, and the final deadline being May the 30th. We understand your members have very busy schedules and in some cases may be unable to distribute the flyers. Therefore, we would also appreciate if you recommended any immediate contacts for us to reach out to directly. Regardless, we truly appreciate your time and wish you the best with this upcoming year.

Best regards,
Vincent Phinouwong
