Our October Happy Hour will be joint one with CUAAJ/CBSCJ. Since we have giving day event on Oct 18. We would like to support the giving day.

With the support from Jonathan SO (SEAS 04) who opened craft beer restaurant in Shinbashi, we choose Brew La La, his restaurant as venue for October.

Admission: JPY2,000 per person, which includes free flow includes one craft beer, house red or white, highball, lemon sour, and soft drinks.
And then food, snacks and any other drinks would just be charged separately to individuals.(10% discount on other orders you make)

There will be complimentary Columbia themed drink for those who is going to support the Givingday.

(subject to change) We also have a mini lecture from Mr. Makoto Hiranuma (BUS 84), Management Advisor, Suzutoku Holdings Co. Ltd. Mr. Hiranuma will talk about “4 Billion Dollars Enterprise of Resource Recycle for Sustainable Earth”
Friends and spouse are welcome to join us. We have selected Tokyo Club as a venue this year.
Tokyo club established on 1844 and it will be a great experience to see the historic club.

コロンビア大学日本同窓会 年次総会のご案内

2017年度年次総会を、以下の要領にて開催致しますので、ご案内申し上げます。会員の皆様並びにこれを機に入会希望の卒業生の皆様もお誘いあわせの上、多数の方のご参加をお待ちしております。なお今年の開催場所である東京倶楽部は、1884年に設立された由緒ある会員制クラブです。（東京倶楽部については、下記をご覧ください。）

議題：会務報告、決算報告の件、ビジネススクール84年卒業の平沼亮様、顧問、スズトクホールディング株式会社、より「都市鉱山・高度循環型社会を担う2,000憶円企業の組成」と題するミニレクチャーをいただいた後、小泉進次郎衆議院議員,自民党筆頭副幹事長(GS,2006)よりスピーチをいただくことになりました。

＊東京倶楽部は、元外務大臣井上馨卿等が英国に範をとったジェントルマンズ・クラブとして明治17年（1884年）に設立、平成26年（2014年）に設立130年を迎えました。国際関係の研究への補助と国際会議への助成、講演会、外国のクラブとの提携、内外の図書雑誌の蒐集等の事業を行っております。設立当初、鹿鳴館に同居しておりましたが、その後、新橋、あるいは霞が関の倶楽部ハウスで活動を続け、現在は港区六本木1丁目に移転しております。倶楽部は歴代の名誉総裁に宮殿下を戴き、現在の名誉総裁は常陸宮正仁親王殿下です。http://www.tokyoclub.or.jp/
