CJEB also invites you to join us for our Annual Tokyo Conference “Japan’s Role in an Evolving World Economy: Finance, Security, and Markets” on Monday, July 28, 2025, if you happen to be in Tokyo on the day of the event. Japan's Finance Minister KATO Katsunobu is confirmed as our keynote. Ms. KOIKE Yuriko, Governor of Tokyo, will give a special address. There will be three other sessions: “Capital Market Challenges in Japan, the U.S., and the World,” “Fireside Chat on the Future of International Trade,” and “Digital Frontiers: AI, Blockchain, and Crypto.” Other speakers include HYODO Masayuki (Sumitomo Corporation), IMAGAWA Takuo (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications), Anil Kashyap (The University of Chicago Booth School of Business), MATSUMOTO Oki (Monex Group, Inc.), MIYOSHI Toshiyuki (Financial Services Agency), Yuval Rooz (Digital Asset), and YAMAJI Hiromi (Japan Exchange Group). Columbia University Professors Merit E.
