この度、Columbia Business School Chazen Study Tour to Japan 2026 の一環として、学生団の Welcome Reception を開催いたします。

Japan Study Tour は、Columbia Business School の学生が日本の文化、ビジネス慣習、そして日本企業の価値創造を学ぶ公式プログラムです。今年は「改善（Kaizen）」をテーマに、日本企業がどのように継続性と変革を両立させているかを学ぶ機会となっています。

現時点で、Columbiaコミュニティとのつながりが特に深い訪問先として、Tiffany & Co. Japan および Seiko Watch Corporation が予定されています。Tiffany & Co. Japan では橘田新太郎社長（CBS MBA 2007）、Seiko Watch Corporation では内藤昭男社長（Columbia Law School LL.M. 1992–1993）とのご縁があります。

JST は、学生にとって日本理解を深める貴重な機会であると同時に、 alumni の皆様にとっても次世代のCBSコミュニティとの交流の場となります。ぜひご参加ください。

Dear CBSers,

We are delighted to invite you to the Welcome Reception for the Columbia Business School Chazen Study Tour to Japan 2026.

The Japan Study Tour is an official CBS program designed to give students first-hand exposure to Japan’s culture, business practices, and distinctive approaches to value creation. This year’s theme is Kaizen, with a focus on how Japanese companies balance continuity and transformation.

At this time, the Columbia-connected visits expected to be highlighted include Tiffany & Co. Japan and Seiko Watch Corporation. These visits are particularly meaningful to our community through Mr. Shintaro Kitsuta, President of Tiffany & Co. Japan (CBS MBA 2007), and Mr. Akio Naito, President of Seiko Watch Corporation (Columbia Law School LL.M. 1992–1993).

We hope this reception will provide a warm opportunity for alumni to welcome the students and strengthen the CBS community in Japan.
