About Kenta Takahashi
After graduating from Keio University, Kenta began his career at McKinsey & Company in 2010, where he worked on marketing analytics and M&A due diligence projects. In 2012, he joined MBK Partners, a private equity firm, and contributed to investments in companies such as Komeda Coffee, TASAKI, Universal Studios Japan, and Godiva.
He later became a founding shareholder of OMAKASE, a restaurant reservation platform for high-demand dining establishments. After three and half years of its inception, he sold majority of shares to a listed company, named GMO Internet.
Since 2022, he has pursued private equity investments independently and acquired 100% ownership of Happys Co., Ltd., the operator of “Traffic Accident Hospital,” where he also serves as a Board of Director.
In 2024, he co-founded Boost Capital, raising ¥16.8 billion for its first fund.
In May 2025, he earned his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

2025年5月マサチューセッツ工科大学にて経営学修士(MBA)取得。
