コロンビアベンチャーコミュニティ・ジャパンチャプター（CVC Japan）では、ファウンダー、スタートアップCEO、そしてインパクトリーダーとして新たなリーダーシップの役割に踏み出した3名のコロンビア大学卒業生を迎えてオンラインセッションを開催いたします。
セッション内容
ディープテック、AI、ソーシャルインパクトの分野で活躍する 3 名のイノベーターが、新たなリーダーシップを選んだ理由や、事業立ち上げの背景となった業界課題 — 持続可能な照明、製造業の生産性向上、社会・環境課題に取り組む組織の人材パイプライン強化など — について語ります。彼らを突き動かす意思決定の背景や、起業家／リーダーとして不確実性にどう向き合っているのかをぜひお聞きください。

About this Event
The Japan Chapter of the Columbia Venture Community (CVC) is pleased to invite you to a virtual session featuring three Columbia University alumni who have recently taken on new leadership roles — as a founder, a CEO, and an impact leader.
Session Overview
Innovators from the deeptech, AI, and social-impact fields will share why they stepped into new leadership roles and the industry challenges that inspired them to launch their companies — from sustainable lighting and manufacturing productivity to strengthening talent pipelines for mission-driven organizations. Hear what drives their decisions and how they navigate the uncertainties of entrepreneurial leadership.

Plug and Play Japanでヘルスケア領域のVPおよび京都拠点長として、20以上のアクセラレーションプログラムを主導し、大企業とスタートアップの事業共創を推進。多様な業界のパートナーとの連携を通じ、国内外のイノベーション創出に貢献した。 それ以前は、SCREENホールディングスにてコーポレート戦略およびスタートアップ投資を担当し、新規事業開発や技術系ベンチャー支援に携わった。 コロンビア大学ビジネススクール（MBA）修了。(Class of 2017)
Joji Takamoto | CEO, LEP Inc.
Joji is the former VP of Health and Head of Kyoto at Plug and Play Japan, where he led more than 20 accelerator programs and built strategic partnerships between major corporations and global startups. Prior to that, he worked in corporate strategy and venture investment at SCREEN Holdings, supporting new business creation and early-stage technology innovation. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. (Class of 2017)
中川 高之 | 株式会社UnlimiTech 代表取締役CEO
東京大学薬学部・同大学院修了後、ABeam ConsultingおよびA.T.カーニーでコンサルティングに従事。その後コロンビア大学MBAを取得し、計画最適化AIスタートアップALGO ARTISのBusiness Managerを経て、現在は製造業向けAIワークフローを提供する株式会社UnlimiTechを創業し、代表取締役CEOを務める。
Takayuki Nakagawa | Founder and CEO, UnlimiTech, Inc.
After completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tokyo, he worked in consulting at ABeam Consulting and A.T. Kearney. He then obtained an MBA from Columbia Business School and served as Business Manager at ALGO ARTIS, an AI startup specializing in planning optimization. He is currently the Founder and CEO of UnlimiTech Inc., an AI startup providing AI workflow solutions for the manufacturing industry.
平井 光城 | 株式会社Professionals For Impact 代表取締役CEO / ゲイツ財団 コンサルタント
大阪市出身。Soka University of America卒業後、コロンビア大学国際公共政策大学院で修士号を取得。ボストンコンサルティンググループを経て、ビル＆メリンダ・ゲイツ財団日本拠点で戦略策定や企業連携に従事。2024年にハーバードビジネススクールを卒業。「最も優秀で意欲のある人が最も重要で困難な課題に取り組める社会」の実現を目指し、社会課題領域に特化した人材支援事業を起業・法人化。両親が非大卒の「ファーストジェネレーション」として、同様の背景を持つプロ人材の支援にも注力。
Mitsushiro mitch Hirai | Professionals For Impact, Inc. Founder ＆ CEO / Gates Foundation Consultant
Originally from Osaka, Mitch earned his BA from Soka University of America and MIA from Columbia University SIPA. After working at BCG and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, he completed his MBA at Harvard in 2024. While currently working as a consultant at Gates Foundation, he also founded Professionals For Impact Inc to connect top talent with organizations addressing societal and humanitarian challenges. As a first-generation college graduate, he is also committed to supporting professionals from similar backgrounds in pursuing impactful careers.
